Candlelit

Description

The story of Candlelit

There is a moment after survival when a woman realizes she no longer has to live guarded.

I painted Candlelit inside that moment. She emerges from the darkness slowly, not untouched by what she endured, but no longer defined by it. The gold resting against her skin is warmth. Safety. The quiet return to herself. Her softness is not weakness. It is something she fought her way back to.

She does not need the whole world to see her. She only needs enough light to remember who she is.
