Blind Devotion
Blind Devotion is about surrendering to my gift and letting the art lead.

Behind the painting
The story of Blind Devotion.
I began this painting in 2024 and finished it in 2025, during a period when I was giving in to my talents and allowing my work to flow freely.
Matte black and metallic silver highlights create the contrast. Through my Lumière Inversée approach, the face emerges from darkness through carved highlights. The open mouth and unseen eyes hold longing, release, intuition, and vulnerability.
The devotion in this painting is inward. It belongs to the act of trusting my own gift, releasing control, and allowing the painting to become what it needs to be.
