The story of Femme Dorée

Femme Dorée means “Golden Woman.” Light becomes structure. Shadow deepens perception.

She began as a spontaneous 30-second sketch, a fleeting curve that captured the female form in its simplest, most instinctive language. That quick line evolved into a sculpted golden silhouette rising from deep shadow, one of the earliest true expressions of my signature approach: sculpting the body through light.

The figure is revealed only where the gold touches her. She feels both distant and intimately familiar, soft, sensual, and quietly commanding. Her power does not come from being fully exposed. It comes from deciding how much of herself the viewer may see.

Against the black, her body appears less like a figure lit from outside and more like light taking physical form. This is not simply a moment captured. It is a presence held.

20 × 24″ Exclusive Edition — Hand-Embellished Canvas

The closest a print can come to the original. Each canvas leaves my studio with additional highlights and finishing touches painted by my own hand, so no two in the edition are identical.

Shipping

• I inspect and embellish every canvas myself before it leaves the studio
• Each canvas ships boxed, corner-protected, and wrapped for its size and destination
• Because each piece is hand-finished, please allow 2–3 weeks before your canvas ships; you receive tracking once it is on its way
• International shipping is available; customs duties, taxes, or import fees are the recipient’s responsibility
• If your canvas arrives damaged, contact us within seven days with photos of the artwork and packaging, and we will make it right

Care

Hang away from direct sunlight and excess humidity. Dust gently with a dry, soft cloth. No glass needed.
